For 1 bird house he got $6. If he makes 12 bird houses he will make $72. Put 1 over 6 ( 1\6) and (12\?) Cross multiply and divide, that = $72.
If he makes 17 bird houses he will make $102. Put (1\6) and (17\?) Cross multiply and divide and that = $102
$102+$72=$174

If DE=4x+10, EF =2x-1, and DF=9x-15, find DF
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

If DE = 4x+10,EF =2X -1, and DF= 9x - 15 find DF

(de + ef ) - df = 2e || 2e/2 = e || ed - e = d || ef - e = f || f + d =  df

de + ef = 6x + 11 || (6x +11) - df = -3x -6 || 2e/2 = -3x/2 - 3  || (-3x/2 - 3) - de = x/2 + 7||  (- 3x/2 - 3) - ef = -x/2 - 1|| d + f = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

start with 0

round 1 : lose 3 1/2

round 2: wins 28 1/2

round 3 : lose 3 1/2

0 - 3 1/2 + 28 1/2 - 3 1/2 =

use the plot of the concentration of cu(no3)3 versus absorbance provided. if the absorbance of an unknown was determined to be 0
Helen [10]

Using the linear regression equation, the concentration of the unknown solution is 0.2161 M.

Linear regression describes the relationship of two variables. It may not be exact but it is the line that best fit the data. The equation for a linear regression is in the form y = bx + a, where x and y are the two variables.

If the absorbance of an unknown was determined to be 0.67 absorbance units, using the linear regression equation provided from the plot, substitute the value of absorbance to the variable y and solve for the value of x or the concentration.

y = 3.8674x - 0.1657

0.67 = 3.8674x - 0.1657

3.8674x = 0.67 + 0.1657

3.8674x = 0.8357

x = 0.2161

Hence, the concentration is 0.2161 M.
