Answer : The sum of the given expression is, \frac{3}{4}

Step-by-step explanation :

As we are given the expression:

0.\bar{5}+0.19\bar{4}

Let us assumed that,

x=0.\bar{5}

or,

x=0.5555.......      ..........(1)

To shifting the one decimal place to the right, we are multiplying the equation by 10 on both side, we get:

10x=5.5555.......       ...........(2)

Now subtracting equation 1 from 2, we get:

9x=5

x=\frac{5}{9}       ............(A)

and,

Let us assumed that,

x=0.19\bar{4}

or,

x=0.194444.......      ..........(1)

To shifting the two decimal place to the right, we are multiplying the equation by 100 on both side, we get:

100x=19.4444.......       ...........(2)

To shifting the one more decimal place to the right, we are multiplying the equation by 10 on both side, we get:

1000x=194.4444.......       ...........(3)

Now subtracting equation 2 from 3, we get:

900x=175

x=\frac{175}{900}         ............(B)

Now adding equation A and B, we get:

\frac{5}{9}+\frac{175}{900}

\Rightarrow \frac{500}{900}+\frac{175}{900}

\Rightarrow \frac{675}{900}

\Rightarrow \frac{3}{4}

Thus, the sum of the given expression is, \frac{3}{4}

<span>Four friends were born on consecutive years.
The sum of their ages is 62. Let's find the age of the youngest friend:
</span><span>Formula:
4x + 6 = 62
=> First is to Subtract 6 from both sides 4x = 56
Then next thing to do is to divide 4 from both sides:
=> x = 14 14 + 14 + 1 + 14 + 2 + 14 + 3 = 62
 62 = 62
 Thus the youngest age is 14</span>

Which of the following is equal to the average of (x+2)^2 and (x-2)^2
Digiron [165]

C

expand factors, sum like terms and divide by 2

(x + 2)² + (x - 2)² = x² + 4x + 4 + x² - 4x + 4 = 2x² + 8

\frac{1}{2}(2x² + 8 ) = x² + 4 → C

I need some help with this question
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

(7w + 9x)(7w - 9x)

Step-by-step explanation:

 Given expression;

        49w²  - 81x²

Now to solve the problem;

         49w² - 81x² = 7²w² - 9²x²

Using differences of two squares;

        x²  - y²   = (x + y)(x - y)

So;

7²w² - 9²x²  = (7w + 9x)(7w - 9x)
