How many triangles are there that satisfy the conditions a =13, b =9, A = 62°?

Mathematics

5 0

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

Using sin Law,

\frac{sinA}{a}=\frac{sinB}{b}

Plugging the value of a, b and angle A

\frac{sin62}{13}=\frac{sinB}{9}

sinB=\frac{9*sin62}{13}

sinB=\frac{9*0.8829}{13}

sinB=0.61127

taking sin inverse on both sides

B=sin^{-1}(0.61127) =37.68

The may be another value of B that will called B' = 180-37.68=142.32

We will not consider this B' value because the um of angle B' and A will exceeds 180 degree (142.32+62=204.32)

Thats why only one triangle is possible.   :   Answer

Hope it will help :)

Tiffany is packing her bags for her vacation. She has 8 unique toy animals, but only 4 fit in her bag. How many different groups
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

70

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN: Tiffany is packing her bags for her vacation. She has 8 unique toy animals, but only 4 fit in her bag.

TO FIND: How many different groups of 4 toy animals can she take.

SOLUTION:

Total unique toy animal Tiffany has =8

Total animal that fit in her bag =4

Now,

Tiffany has to select 4 toy animals from 8 animals.

Number of ways of selecting 4 toy animals =^8C_4

                                                                       =\frac{8!}{4!4!}

                                                                       =70

Hence Tiffany has 70 different ways to select group of 4 unique toys.

Let f(x) =4x-1 and g(x) = 2x^2 + 3 (fg)(x) , f/g(x), g/f(x)
sveta [45]
F(x) = 4x - 1
g(x) - 2x² + 3

<u>(f · g)(x)</u>
(f · g)(x) = (4x - 1)(2x² + 3)
(f · g)(x) = 4x(2x² + 3) - 1(2x² + 3)
(f · g)(x) = 4x(2x²) + 4x(3) - 1(2x²) - 1(3)
(f · g)(x) = 8x³ + 12x - 2x² - 3

<u>(f/g)(x)</u>
(f/g)(x) = <u>4x - 1</u>
             2x² + 3

<u>(g/f)(x)</u>
(g/f)(x) = <u>2x² + 3</u>
               4x - 1
(g/f)(x)= ¹/₂x + ¹/₈ + <u> 3¹/₈ </u>
                              4x - 1
