How many triangles are there that satisfy the conditions a =13, b =9, A = 62°?

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

Using sin Law,

\frac{sinA}{a}=\frac{sinB}{b}

Plugging the value of a, b and angle A

\frac{sin62}{13}=\frac{sinB}{9}

sinB=\frac{9*sin62}{13}

sinB=\frac{9*0.8829}{13}

sinB=0.61127

taking sin inverse on both sides

B=sin^{-1}(0.61127) =37.68

The may be another value of B that will called B' = 180-37.68=142.32

We will not consider this B' value because the um of angle B' and A will exceeds 180 degree (142.32+62=204.32)

Thats why only one triangle is possible.   :   Answer

Hope it will help :)

Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

The minimum would be 4,500, and the maximum would be 4,700.

Step-by-step explanation:

If I am not mistaken, you simply need to add or subtract 100 to find the minimum or maximum, as it stated that 4,600 is an estimate that is valid for a range of 100 (up or down).

2<br> v<br> What is the equation of a line that is parallel to y = -4x – 3 and shifted down 3 units?
Ugo [173]

Answer: y=-4x-6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The equation of line is y=-4x-3

The line which is parallel to the given line is y=-4x+c

and shifted by 3 units down i.e. its y-intercept is 3 units below the given line

\therefore y=-4x-3-3\\\Rightarrow y=-4x-6

A rectangle has an area of 8x2 - 2x - 45. The length of the
Savatey [412]

Answer:

Width = W = 2x-5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Data:

Length of rectangle = L = 4x + 9 ------->(Equation 1)

Area of rectangle = A = 8x^{2} - 2x -45 square inches ------->(Equation 2)

To find out:

Width of rectangle = W = ?

Formula:

Area = A = L×W

Width = W = \frac{A}{L}

Solution:

Width = W = \frac{A}{L}

Width = W = \frac{8x^{2} - 2x - 45 }{4x+9}

For complete division check the attached image.

Width = W = 2x-5 inches

The cost of a banquet can be calculated using the function
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

3 people attended the banquet

Step-by-step explanation:

The function is given as:

b = 75 + 15n where

b represents the total = 122

n represents the number of people attending = ??

If the total cost of the banquet is 122, how many people attended the banquet?

Hence,

122 = 75 + 15n

122 - 75 = 15n

47 = 15n

Divide both sides by 15

n = 47/15

n = 3.1333333333

Approximately to the nearest whole number = 3

Therefore, 3 people attended the banquet.
