Hello I am really struggling on this test, can someone please help me and I will help you
olganol [36]

Answer:

x = 50

Step-by-step explanation:

SU is a midline segment and is one half the measure of VW, thus

VW = 2SU , that is

x - 46 = 2(x - 48) ← distribute

x - 46 = 2x - 96 ( subtract x from both sides )

- 46 = x - 96 ( add 96 to both sides )

50 = x

eimsori [14]
Hello,

Let's assume v=the normal bicycling speed with no wind
and t the same amount of time...

60=(v+2)*t (1)
48=(v-2)*t (2)

(1)/(2)==>60/48=(v+2)/(v-2)

==>5(v-2)=4(v+2)
==>5v-4v=8+10
==>v=18 (mi/h)

The graph below represents c, the amount a phone company charges, based on m, the number of minutes the customer uses each month
Lelechka [254]
The y-intercept of the graph shows that at m = 0, c = 15. We can see a constant slope that causes the graph to pass through m = 20, c = 20, as well as m = 40, c = 25. This shows a constant increase of $5/20 minutes, or a slope of 5/20 = 1/4. Based on slope-intercept form y = mx+b, the equation would be c = (1/4)m+15, from 0 <= m <= 44,640. This is the second of the given choices.
