49.95*.1= 4.99
44.96*.065= 2.92
44.96+2.92= 47.88 (the cost for first option)

44.95+4= 48.95

The first option would be cheaper.

Hope this helped you!

Answer:

A. $48.2

B. $48.95

C. Local store is cheaper

Step-by-step explanation:

According to data given,

First we have to calculate total price at local store

Since there is a discount coupon at store which is 10% off

so with respect to standard price which is $49.95

Coupon off is "x"

(x/49.95)*100 = 10

x = $4.99

Now sales tax is 6.5% is "y"

so (y/49.95)*100 = 6.5

y = $3.24

So final price at store is

Standard price - coupon off + sales tax

Standard price -x + y

= 49.95 - 4.99 + 3.24

= $48.2

Now for online shopping, total price is standard price and shipping charges

So, standard price = $44.95

shipping charges = $4.00

Total price for online purchase = 44.95 + 4.00

                                                    = $48.95

So by comparison, shopping from local store will be cheaper.

If sin(t) = 3/5 and t is in the 2nd quadrant, find cos(t).
NemiM [27]

Cosine is \frac{hypotenuse}{adjacent}.

Apply the equation:

sin(t) = \frac{3}{5} \\3^2 + b^2 = 5^2\\b^2 = 5^2 - 3^2\\\\\sqrt{b^2} = \sqrt{5^2}- \sqrt{3^2}\\\\\\b = 5 - 3 \\\\b = 2

B is the adjacent side so

cosine is:

Cos(t) = 5/2

Have a great day,

And I hope this helps you!
