A cyclist named Carly Daugherty accelerates from 0 m/s to 8 m/s in 3 seconds. What is her acceleration? Is this acceleration hig

           Magnitude of acceleration =

(change in speed) / (time for the change) .

Magnitude of Carly's acceleration =

                                                     (8 m/s) / (3 sec) = 2-2/3 m/s²

Magnitude of Soul Train's acceleration =

                                                    (30 m/s) / (8 sec) = 3.75 m/s² .

Soul Train's acceleration is about 41% greater than Carly's.

If a 370 KG missile is flying at a speed of 220 m/s , then what is it’s kinetic energy
lidiya [134]

Answer:

8954000 J

Explanation:

The formula to find kinetic energy is:

Kinetic energy = \frac{1}{2} × mass × (velocity)²

So, Kinetic energy = \frac{1}{2} × 370 × (220)²

Kinetic energy = 8954000 J

Why can the structure of the solar system be compared to soap bubbles?
lukranit [14]
Because the universe is sort of like the surface of a balloon just like soap bubbles. The reason for this, is because of all the clusters and superclusters that are found within the bubble walls. Hope that helps!
