So, I need someone to help show me the steps for solving the equation after equal sign. It is supposed to = 729, and I am pretty

sure it does and it's true, but everytime I try to prove it I must be doing something wrong because I get insane answers instead.. Can someone help me and show the steps to getting 729 for this polynomial? Thanks!

Determine whether each relation is a function. Give the domain and range for each relation.
brilliants [131]

Answer:

Not a function

Domain: {3,4}

Range: {4,5}

Step-by-step explanation:

A function is a relation where each input has its own output. In other words if the x value has multiple corresponding y values then the relation is not a function

For the relation given {(3, 4), (3, 5), (4, 4), (4, 5)} the x value 3 and 4 have more than one corresponding y value therefore the relation shown is not a function

Now let's find the domain and range.

Domain is the set of x values in a relation.

The x values of the given relation are 3 and 4 so the domain is {3,4}

The range is the set of y values in a relation

The y value of the given relation include 4 and 5

So the range would be {4,5}

Notes:

The values of x and y should be written from least to greatest when writing them out as domain and range.

They should be written inside of brackets

Do not repeat numbers when writing the domain and range

What is the square root of four
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

It is +2 or since (+2)*(+2 ) gives. If you think that it would be (-2) also then you are wrong because root of a positive rational number is always positive number.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the square root of four be ‘k’.

Then we have

(4)^1/2=k

(Squaring both sides)

4=(k)^2

=>(k)^2–4=0

=>(k)^2-(2)^2=0

=>[k+2][k-2]=0 {since (a)^2-(b)^2=(a+b)(a-b)}

if product of two numbers is 0 then either of one must be zero.

If k+2=0 then k=-2

If k-2=0 then k=2

From here we got two answers but -2 should be omitted because when we square an equation we add “root extra”which means that when we square an equation one root is added.

Rewrite 48 + 60 using the distributive property
Flauer [41]

Answer:

12* ( 4+5)

Step-by-step explanation:

48 = 12 * 4

60 = 12 * 5

48 + 60 = 12*4 + 12*5

             = 12*( 4 + 5)

            = 12* 9

            = 108
