Simply by using process of elimination the answer would be C. The ancestors of elephants didn't evolve until the dinosaurs had been extinct for millions of years, so that eliminates A. That leaves B and C. If we look at it from a scientific point of view, it wouldn't make sense if Asian elephants killed off the other species because Asian elephants were a lot smaller than most of the other species at that time.
