Answer:

C) Similar but not congruent

Step-by-step explanation:

These figures are similar not congruent because:

In order for a triangle to be congruent it has to be the same size and shape.

There is no such thing as congruent but not similar as if it's congruent it is similar.

However, in order for a triangle to be similar it must have the same shape( angles).

So we can see that both triangles are isoceles and the sides of each are in a ratio of 2:1. Meaning that the bigger triangle has sides that are exactly twice as large as the smaller trinage. This also means that the angles are equal. Hence they are similar but not congruent.

What’s the answer for this? Only if you know tho!
ikadub [295]

Answer: D. SSS

Step-by-step explanation:

The solution would be SSS because the image shows that AB is congruent to DE, BC is congruent to EF, and AC is congruent to DF. Because the image shows that all three sides are congruent to their corresponding side on the other triangle, with no mention of angles, the triangles are congreunt through the SSS theorem.

PLEASE HELP! What is the volume of the pyramid shown below?
mezya [45]
The formula for the volume of a pyramid is,

V=1/3Bh

Since the base of the pyramid is a square, the base area is 11^2

which equals 121 sq. units

So, substitute 121

for B

and 6 for h, in the formula.

V=1/3(121)(6) = 242 cu. units

Or alternatively 1/3(11^2)(6) = 242 cu. units
