Answer:

108N

Explanation:

According to law of gravitation which states that "the force

of attraction between two masses in a gravitational field is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of their distance between them.

Mathematically, F = Gm1m2/r²

Where;

m1 and m2 are the masses of the object

G is the gravitational constant

r is the distance between the masses

If Objects 1 and 2 attract each other with a gravitational force of 36.0 units, we will have;

36 = Gm1m2/r²... (1)

If the mass of Object 2 is tripled, the gravitational force becomes

F = Gm1(3m2)/r²

F = 3Gm1m2/r²... (2)

Dividing equation 1 by 2, we will have;

36/F = {Gm1m2/r²}/3Gm1m2/r²

36/F = Gm1m2/r²×r²/3Gm1m2

36/F = 1/3

Cross multiplying we have

F = 36×3

F = 216N

Therefore, the gravitational force when the second object is tripled is 108N

A fly has a mass of 1 gram at rest. how fast would it have to be traveling to have the mass of a large suv, which is about 3000
Zigmanuir [339]

We solve this using special relativity. Special relativity actually places the relativistic mass to be the rest mass factored by a constant "gamma". The gamma is equal to 1/sqrt (1 - (v/c)^2).

We want a ratio of 3000000 to 1, or 3 million to 1.

Therefore:
3E6 = 1/sqrt (1 - (v/c)^2)
1 - (v/c)^2 = (0.000000333)^2
0.99999999999999 = (v/c)^2
0.99999999999999 = v/c
v= 99.999999999999% of the speed of light ~ speed of light
v = 3 x 10^8 m/s

Show that atmosphere exerts pressure.
Maru [420]

Because gas particles in the air like particles of all fluids are constantly moving and bumping into things, they exert pressure. The pressure exerted by the air in the atmosphere is greater close to Earth's surface and decreases as you go higher above the surface.

Explanation:

 • Fill roughly one-third of a cup with water. Then, cover the mouth of the cup completely with a flat, hard cardboard. Using your hand to keep it in place, turn the cup upside down. When you remove your hand, the the cardboard stays in place.
 • One would expect that due to gravity, the water will fall, and even the cardboard will. However, it does not, which means that something must be applying an upward force on the cardboard. This is nothing other than air pressure, which applies a force across the surface of the cardboard in an upward direction.
 • Thus we can demonstrate that air exerts pressure, because otherwise, the water would have fallen.

Answer:

Because the log is hollow or is less dense

Explanation:

If a log has little density, it will float. While sand is dense and completely solid, so it will sink.

Runner 1 has a velocity of 10 m/s west. Runner 2 has a velocity of 7 m/s east. From the frame of reference of runner 2, what is
Vsevolod [243]

Answer:

17 m/s west

Explanation:

Runner 1 has velocity = 10 m/s west

runner 2 has velocity = 7 m/s east

From the frame of reference of runner 2, we can imagine runner 2 as standing still, and runner 1 moving away from him, towards the west with their combined velocity of

velocity = 10 m/s + 7 m/s = 17 m/s west

A wheel is rotating about a fixed axis with constant angular acceleration 3 rad/s². At different moments, its angular speed is -
meriva

b and e are the largest and equal in magnitude. w*2R = (2)(2)R = 4R

A and d are next. aR = (3rad/s2)R = 3R

c is zero. wR = v = 0; Angular acceleration is zero.

What is angular acceleration?

 • The temporal rate at which angular velocity changes is known as angular acceleration. The standard unit of measurement is radians per second per second. Therefore, = d d t. Rotational acceleration is another name for angular acceleration.
 • Angular velocity divided by acceleration time can be used to define angular acceleration. (t). As an alternative, use pi times the drive speed (n) divided by the acceleration time (t) times 30. Radians per second squared (Rad/sec2) is the standard SI unit for rotational acceleration resulting from this equation.
 • To calculate angular velocity, we can use one of three formulas. The definition itself provides the first. Theta = position angle, t = time, and w = angular velocity, where w = angular velocity, theta = position angle, and t = time. Angular velocity is the rate of change of an object's position angle with respect to time.
 • The symbol for angular acceleration is, and it is measured in rad/s2, or radians per second square.

If two items are equal, show them as equal in your ranking. If a quantity is equal to zero, show that fact in your ranking:

b and e are the largest and equal in magnitude. w*2R = (2)(2)R = 4R

A and d are next. aR = (3rad/s2)R = 3R

c is zero. wR = v = 0; Angular acceleration is zero.
