Answer:

Explanation:

PNP(Positive Negative Positive ) transistor is a type of BJT( Bipolar Junction Transistors).

PNP has three terminals, which are the base, collector and the emitter.

Then, to cause the base current to flow, the base terminal must be more negative than the emitter terminal.

Ic = Ie - Ib, so that current must leave the base.

So the emitter negativity is more than the base.

In PNP transistor, positive voltage is given to the emitter terminal and current flows from the emitter to the collector, given that there is sufficient negative current flow from the base.

Current flows from the emitter and exit from the base, it is know that current flow from a positive potential to a negative potential.

Then, the emitter is the least negative, follow by the collector and then, the base

8. How many calories of heat energy (Q) would be released as a 2,500 g iron (Fe) frying pan at 190˚C cools to 25˚C?
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

Q=197505J

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Mass m=2500g=2.5kg

Initial heat of pan i_h=190 \tetxtdegree

Final heat of pan f_h=25˚C \tetxtdegree

Generally the equation for Heat energy released is mathematically given by

 Q=mC \triangle T\\\\Q=2.5*462 *(190-26)\\\\Q=1155 *(190-26)\\\\Q=1155 *(171)\\

 Q=197505J

A car drives over a hilltop that has a radius of curvature 120 m at the top of the hill. at what speed would the car be travelin
FinnZ [79.3K]
The speed of a car travelling over a hill that has a radius of curvature should not exceed a certain speed other it will topple. This speed is related to the radius of curvature and the gravitational acceleration as shown below:

V^2 = Rg, where V = maximum speed, R = Radius of curvature, g = gravitational acceleration.

Substituting;
V = Sqrt (Rg) =  Sqrt (120*9.81) = 34.31 m/s

Which factor affects elastic potential energy but not gravitational potential energy?
julsineya [31]

Explanation:

The energy stored in an elastic objects as a result of deformation is called elastic potential energy. The energy stored in a spring is given by :

E=\dfrac{1}{2}kx^2

Where

k = spring constant

x = compression or stretching in an spring

While gravitational potential energy is given by :

PE = mgh

where

m = mass

g = acceleration due to gravity

h = height from ground

So, the factor affecting elastic potential energy but not gravitational potential energy is " spring constant ".
