Divide each term in

3x=27  by  3.3x3=27/3

Reduce the expression by cancelling the common factors.

Cancel the common factor.

3x3=27/3

Divide

x  by  1.x  =27  /3

Divide

27  by  3.x=9

Divide each term by  3  and simplify. hope this helps :)

To solve for equations that consists of factions, you have to cross multiply, and we also have to use reverse PEMDAS.

\frac{3x}{27} = \frac{2}{3}

3x *  3 = 27 * 2

6x = 54

Divide both sides by 6

x = 9

The following function represents the value of a motorcycle, in dollars, after x years: f(x) = 19,000(0.91)x
Semenov [28]

Answer:

Option C.The decrease in the value of the motorcycle, which is 9%

Step-by-step explanation:

we have a exponential function of the form

f(x)= ab^x

where

a is the initial value

b represents growth or decay factor

If b >1 then it is an exponential growth

if 0<b<1 then it is an exponential decay

In this problem

a=$19,000

b=0.91 -----> it is exponential decay factor

Find the rate of decrease r

b=(1-r)

substitute

0.91=1-r

r=1-0.91=0.09

Convert to percentage

0.09*100=9%

therefore

0.91 represent the decrease in the value of the motorcycle, which is 9%

Sedbober [7]
F= 9t . This is because each square foot is 9 tiles so however many square feet would be t. For ex. If you wanted 3 square feet then it would be f= 9(3) f=27 so you would need 27 tiles
