A father lifts a toddler 1.5 m up in the air. The child gains 187.5 J of energy in her gravitational potential energy store as a

The mass of the toddler is 12.5 kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation for gravitational potential energy is Ep=mgh where;

Ep=gravitational potential energy

m=mass of an object

g=gravitational field strength

h=height in meters

Given that ; h= 1.5m, Ep=187.5J , g=10 N/kg then finding m;

Ep=mgh

187.5=m*10*1.5

187.5=15m

187.5/15 =15m/15

12.5 kg=m

Find the zeros (roots) of the following equations. f(x) = 2x5 - 9x4 + 12x3 - 12x2 + 10x - 3 = 0
Talja [164]
Hi,
f(1)=2*1^5-9*1^4+12*1^3-12*1^2+10*1-3\\
=2-9+12-12+10-3\\
=0\\

f(x)=(x-1)(2x^4-7x^3+5x^2-7x+3)\\

g(x)=2x^4-7x^3+5x^2-7x+3\\

g(3)=2*3^4-7*3^3+5*3^2-7*3+3\\
=162-189+45-21+3\\
=0\\

g(x)=(x-3)(2x^3-x^2+2x-1)\\

h(x)=2x^3-x^2+2x-1\\

h( \dfrac{1}{2} )=2* \dfrac{1}{8} - \dfrac{1} {4}+1-1\\
=0\\

h(x)=(2x-1)(x^2+1)\\

f(x)=(x-1)(x-3)(2x-1)(x+i)(x-i)\\

Help me please. <br>20+(-16)4
Sphinxa [80]

First , you multiply.

200+(-16)4
200+(-64)

Since they have different signs, you subtract and keep the sign of the greater absolute value.

200+(-64)=136

If \: x + y + z = 0 \: then \: show \: that \: {x}^{3} + {y}^{3 } + {z}^{3} =3xy<br>
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

Given

x+y+z=0

⟹x+y=−z

Cubing on both sides

(x+y) 3 =(−z) 3

⟹x 3 +y 3 +3x 2y+3xy 2 =−z 3

⟹x 3 +y 3 +3xy(x+y)=−z 3

⟹x 3+y 3+3xy(−z)=−z 3

⟹x 3 +y 3−3xyz=−z 3

⟹x 3 +y 3 +z 3 =3xyz

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope it is helpful.....
