Full price is 60+37.50=97.50$ is   x% price
                                    60% is 100%
so x=97.50*100/60=162.5%

th real cost of tickets would be
4*1.62=6.48$
Answer: the regular price was 6.48$ per tichet

The answer would be $6.50.
60 divided by 4 is 15
60 plus 37.5 is 97.5
97.5 divided by 15 is 6.5
So each ticket would be $6.50 at regular price

The sum of two numbers is 31.The product of the two numbers is 150. What are the two numbers?
Nikolay [14]
The two numbers I will call x and y.
x + y = 31
x * y = 150

You then solve for one variable in either equation and substitute it into the other equation.

x + y = 31
x = 31 - y

Then you plug it in:
x * y = 150
(31 - y) * y = 150
-y² + 31y = 150
y² - 31y + 150 = 0            Then factor:
(y - 6)(y - 25) = 0
y - 6 = 0        y - 25 = 0
y = 6             y = 25

When you plug y into the original equations, it comes out that the two numbers are 6 and 25. You can check your work because 6+25 = 31 and 6*25 = 150. Hope this helps! :)

Find the area of a polygon with vertices at (1,3), (7,3), (7,7), and (4,7).
Natasha2012 [34]

(1,3) and (7,3) falls on the same horizontal line. hence, the distance is just equal to 6 units. (7,3) and (7,7) meanwhile lie on the same vertical line. hence the distance is 4. (7,7) and (4,7) lie on the same horizontal line with a distance of 3.

Finally, to get back to point (1,3) - (4,7) ----> (1,3), 3 to the left and 4 down, the diagonal being 5.
6+4+3+5= 10 + 8 = 18.
