Answer:

Sarah is wrong. First of all 50 * 20 is 1000 thats more than 100. Also no this would not be random as a high school population constricts it to only ONE age group which is teens. This would not give you an accurate data set. You need to spread it over the general population all locations, races, genders and AGES.

I'm pretty sure this would be because if I'm correct, the surveyors would not have known where and who they were gonna survey before they went. However, this wouldn't show accurate information because you should survey at least 100 people.

Ivahew [28]

Answer:

a_n=2,\:a_n=a_{n-1}-5

Step-by-step explanation:

If you map the sequence out, you get the following values:

a = 1, a(n) = 2

a = 2, a(n) = -3

a = 3, a(n) = -8

As you can see, the first term is 2 and the sequence is decreasing by 5 each time. Therefore, the answer is D.

Now, use your research to decide which business is the best choice for this community.
larisa86 [58]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the best business for this area is The Shoe Hut. This is the case for several reasons. First, there is less competition for custom sporting goods, as the supply in the area is lower. Survey data shows that there are more individuals who desire custom outdoor sporting goods than there are people who desire more coffee shops. Finally, the overall capital required to start and maintain The Shoe Hut is lower. Less equipment is needed, any building can be rented, and if an employee cannot be hired immediately, I can run the store on my own.

The thiciness of a fingernail is about 1
topjm [15]

The thickness of a fingernail is about 10^-5 inch

From the complete question, we have the following parameter

Thickness = 1/100000 inch

To represent the thickness in standard form, we do the following:

Express the thickness as a decimal

Thickness = 0.00001 inch

So, the standard form would be:

Thickness = 1 * 10^-5 inch

This gives

Thickness = 10^-5 inch

Hence, the complete statement is:

The thickness of a fingernail is about 10^-5 inch

\frac{f}{2} +9=4

Subtract 9 from both sides:

\frac{f}{2}+9-9=4-9

\frac{f}{2} =-5

Multiply both sides by 2:

2*\frac{f}{2} =-5*2

f=-10
