So one coat uses 125 chinchillas . So, 10 * 125 will give you how many will give you 1250 chinchillas.. this is the number of chinchillas needed for 10 coats. So for 2 years you would have to multiply it by two so, 1250 * 2 = 2500.

Find the sum of the geometric sequence. 4 divided by 3, 16 divided by 3, 64 divided by 3, 256 divided by 3, 1024 divided by 3
Art [367]

Answer:

Sum = \frac{1364}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

The given geometric sequence is:

\frac{4}{3}, \frac{16}{3}, \frac{64}{3}, \frac{256}{3},\frac{1024}{3}

The first term of the sequence is a_{1}=\frac{4}{3}

The common ratio of the sequence is:

r=\frac{\frac{16}{3} }{\frac{4}{3} }=4

There are 5 terms in total in the given sequence so n = 5

The formula to calculate the sum of finite geometric sequence is:

S_{n} = \frac{a_{1}(1-r^{n}) }{1-r}

Using the given values, we get:

S_{5}=\frac{\frac{4}{3} (1-4^{5}) }{1-5} = \frac{1364}{3}

Therefore, the sum of given geometric sequence is \frac{1364}{3}

last year the cost of a season ticket for a rugby club £370. This year the cost of a season ticket for the club has been increas
Elden [556K]

Answer:

\frac{80}{370} OR \frac{8}{37}

Step-by-step explanation:

So first you find the difference between the new cost and the old cost:

450 - 370  = 80

So the increase was 80.

When you write it as a fraction you write the increase ( 80 ) over the starting cost ( 370 ).

Thus the answer becomes \frac{80}{370}

But you can always reduce it to its lowest terms thus:

\frac{8}{37}

Can someone please help, answer with steps.
julsineya [31]

Your Answer Is C) III Only.

A temperature increase of 5/9 degrees Fahrenheit is equivalent to a temperature increase of 1 degree Celsius.

One way we could check is by multiplying (f -32) by five degrees.

( f - 32 ) = 31

9 / 5 = 1.8

31 * 1.8 = 55.8

55.8 / 14^2 = 0.28

Now, let's check,

0.28 / 1.8 = 0.504

0.504 * 28.1232 = 55.8

Or it could be solved by keeping on adding. (That would be easier but I prefer multiplying.)
