Can you find the distance between two points using absolute value
EleoNora [17]

This depends. The way you do this is by taking these two points and by adding their absolute values together, this therefore finds their difference. This only works if one number is positive and one in negative. If two numbers are on the same side of the number line you CANNOT find their difference with absolute value.

Hope this helps, if not, comment below please!!!!

Use the data you’ve found up to this point to fill in the final column

The value c is 19.2

The value d is 160-x

Explanation:

To find the value of c, we need to subtract the original value and the removed value.

Thus,

c = Original - Removed

Let us substitute the value of original and removed from the table.

Thus,

c = 19.2-0=19.2

Thus, the value of c is 19.2

To find the value of d, we need to subtract the original value and the removed value.

Thus,

d = Original - Removed

Let us substitute the value of original and removed from the table.

Thus,

d=160-x

Thus, the value of d is 160-x

Is (7, 9) a solution to the inequality y>2x+1?
OLEGan [10]
No and here’s why

you input the number into your inequality

9>2(7)+1

when you simplify that you get

9>15

and 9 is NOT greater than 15 so no it is not a solution to the inequality
