Classify the following processes as exothermic or endothermic: (e) a person growing;
Lisa [10]

A response that is chemical in nature and is characterized with the aid of the release of power in the shape of warmth or light is referred to as an exothermic response.

Following processes are exothermic:-

freezing of water.

digestion of food.

a person running.

heating with a furnace.

Following processes are endothermic:-

boiling of water.

a person growing.

wood being chopped.

Endothermic reactions are chemical reactions wherein the reactants soak up warmness electricity from the environment to shape products. those reactions decrease the temperature of their surrounding place, thereby growing a cooling impact.

DISCLAIMER:- Your question is incomplete , see full question below:-

Which of the following sequences describes how a four-stroke engine cycle
Ludmilka [50]

The sequence which describes the four-stroke engine cycle is air and fuel intake, compression and ignition, combustion and expansion, exhaust.

What is four stroke engine cycle?

Four stroke engine cycle is a type of engine in which internal combustion takes place by the piston.

Stroke in the engine stands for the whole travel of piston along the cylinder. Following are the sequence of processes that occur in the engine:

 • Injection: In this process air and fuel are injected to the engine.
 • Ignition: The intake material will compressed and ignition of them takes place.
 • Combustion: As a result of the ignition, combustion of the fuel takes place and due to the formation of products from the combustion reaction again expansion takes place.
 • Exhaust: In this step piston pushes out burned gases from the engine.

Hence, correct sequence is air and fuel intake, compression and ignition, combustion and expansion, exhaust.
