The theory of spontaneous generation suggested that life can just appear from nowhere because of observing maggots appearing on dead flesh. The hypothesis is: If maggots, fungal and bacterial growth on foods overtime indicate spontaneous generation and the idea there is no parent organism then all foods exposed to different conditions and chemicals should overtime become covered with maggots, fungal and bacterial growth.
