We have to find the INCORRECT statement from the given 4 choices.

Since the points of the given scatter plot lie mainly in a straight line we can conclude that there is a strong correlation between the car's value and the car's age.

Since the correlation is strong the the slope is negative, we can conclude that the correlation coefficient is close to -1.

The data does shows a negative linear relationship as the line is falling i.e. slope is negative.

The statement D is false. The explanatory variable is plotted along x-axis. So the variable along x-axis is Car's age in years not Cars value.

So the answer to this question is D.

Craig went bowling with $25 to spend. he rented shoes for $5.00 and paid $4.00 for each game. What was the greatest number of ga
Anton [14]

Answer: A

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Budget = $25

Shoes rental = $5.00

Price per game = $4.00

To find the greatest number of games he played...

↓

First, subtract the rent for the shoes from the budget.

25 - 5 = 20

Second, divide the remaining money or budget by the price per game.

20 ÷ 4 = 5 (greatest number of games played)

Lastly, check if the expense is the same as the original amount of money.

5 (shoes) + 4(5) (number of games played)

5 + 20 = 25 (original amount of money)

Hope it helps!!! Please mark as brainliest. Thank you :D

a boat is traveling at an average speed of 15 meters per second. how many kilometers per minute is the boat traveling?
lukranit [14]
We know that 1 meter is 0.001 km and that 1 minute is 60 seconds.
To transform 15m/s we into km/min we have to multiply 15 by 0.001 and multiply it by 60.
15*0.001*60=0.0015*60=0.09 km/min  - its the answer

Answer:

  x = 5, x = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Set f(x) = 0 and solve for x.

  0 = (x -8)² -9

  9 = (x -8)² . . . . . add 9

  ±√9 = x -8 . . . . . take the square root

  ±3 +8 = x . . . . . . . add 8

That is, ...

  x = 8 -3 = 5 . . . . lesser x

  x = 8 +3 = 11 . . . greater x
