Healthy risk taking behaviour can be defined as taking risks that can lead to better outcomes, and develops personality and confidence. For example, saying a speech in front of the class. The person is taking a risk; they could embarass themselves or say something wrong, but by saying the speech they are able to get over these fears.
Unhealthy risk taking is defined as taking risks that can lead to bad outcomes that cause deterioration in the person taking the risk. For example, jumping out of a tree can lead to breaking your arm.
