48 \div 6 = 8 \\ 8 \times 3 = 24

Rachel used a total of 48 yards of material which is the equivalent to making 8 costumes without trim. Since each costume needs 3 yards of trim you would multiply the trim by the costumes, 3x8, which would be 24 yards of trim.

(48/6)3=24

(f/6)3=t   f= total fabric used t=total trim used

I dont know what the images are but scale factor is <span>is a number which </span>scales<span>, or multiplies, some quantity. Technically it is the number you have to multiply on each side that will get you the sides on the smaller or larger rectangle!!!
