 The symptoms of farmworker exploitation and the more flamboyant aspects of farmworkers’ efforts to gain fair contracts from the growers have become quite well-known. Much less known by equally important is a story which deals with the nitty-gritty of the farmworkers’ struggle for economic dignity: their efforts to form a nation-wide farm workers union.

One aspect of the rule of law was that Rome was republic and had a codified law

Explanation:

In the time of the Roman rule there were few place in the world that had a completely codified law that was followed by all people across the nation.

This was the case in Rome however as there was no king to delve out justice by their own whim.

Instead the Romans had courts that were the final say on what is to happen tot he people acquired and accused so the rule of law was formulated and then followed by all citizen.
