She saves 1/10 of her salary. That's the simplified version, it can also be written 10/100. Fractions, decimals, and percentages are all interchangeable.

The question is asking to convert a percentage to a fraction. To do this, you can  multiply by 1/100, and get rid of the percent sign. This looks like this. \frac{10}{1} * \frac{1}{100} = \frac{10}{100}. Now you can see that this is your fraction. Finally, you would need to simplify it, if you can, and we can in this case. To simplify it, if you divide the numerator by 10 and the denominator by 10, you can see we get 1/10. Therefore the woman saves 1/10 of her salary. Hope this helps. Which one of the following is always true?a. The coefficient of variation measures variability in a positively skewed data set r
Tom [10]

Answer:

C. The coefficient of variation is a measure of relative dispersion that expresses the standard deviation as a percentage of the mean, for any data on a ratio scale and an interval scale

Step-by-step explanation:

Th Coefficient of Variance is a measure of dispersion that can be calculated using the formula:

CV = \frac{\sigma_{x} }{\mu_{x} } * 100%

Where \sigma{x} is the Standard Deviation

and \mu_{x} is the sample mean

From the formula written above, it is shown that the Coefficient of Variation expresses the Standard Deviation as a percentage of the mean.

Coefficient of variation can be used to compare positive as well as negative data on the ratio and interval scale, it is not only used for positive data.

The Interquartile Range is not a measure of central tendency, it is a measure of dispersion.

A bolt has 6 1/2 turns per inch. How many turns would be in 2 1/2 inches of threads?
Reika [66]

There would be 41 1/4 turns in 2 1/2 inches of threads.

Given, number of turns a bolt has = 16 1/2 turns per inch.

per inch bolt turns = 16 1/2 =33/2

how many turns would be there in 2 1/2 inches of threads = ?

Threads Per Inch, or TPI, is a measure of how many threads are found in one inch along a fastener's length. American fasteners are the only ones that employ TPI. Typically, the thread count is higher for smaller fasteners since they have finer threads. Just as the name implies, the Threads Per Inch (TPI) refers to the number of threads that run the length of a screw for one inch. The TPI of a screw can be easily calculated by simply counting the threads and dividing the total length.

so, 5/2 inches bolt turns =33/2 x 5/2

=165/4

hence 41 1/4 turns

Therefore, 2 1/2 inches of threads have 41 1/2 turns.

Evaluate the expressio <br>-6(-5)+12
natta225 [31]

First, multiply -6*-5. This equals (positive) 30 because the negative signs cancel out.

This leaves you with:

30+12

Doing the addition leaves you with 42.

The answer is 42.

I hope this helps :)
