Answer:

1,500\ ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

L ----> the length of the rectangular garden in feet

w ---> the width of the rectangular garden in feet

step 1

Find the width

we know that

The perimeter of the rectangular garden is

P=2(L+W)

P=170\ ft

so

170=2(L+W)

Simplify

85=(L+W) ----> equation A

L=2W+10 ----> equation B

substitute equation B in equation A and solve for W

85=(2W+10+W)

85-10=3W

3W=75

W=25\ ft

Find the value of L

L=2(25)+10=60\ ft

step 2

Find the area

we know that

The area of the rectangular garden is

A=(LW)

substitute the values

A=(60)(25)=1,500\ ft^2

Expand (2x-5y)⁷ and find fourth form
elena55 [62]

Step-by-step explanation:

By binomial theorem,

T(r+1) = nCr * a^(r+1) * b^r

Term 4 = 7C3 * (2x)^4 * (-5y)^3 = 35 * (16x^4) * (-125y^3) = -70000x^4y^3.

Algebra problem, please show work!
Brrunno [24]

6x+1 / 2x +6 - 5/2

Factor 2 out of the denominator of the first fraction:

6x+1 / 2(x+3) - 5/2

Rewrite 5/2 to have a common denominator with the first fraction:

6x+1/2(x+3) - 5(x+3) / 2(x+3)

Simplify terms:

6x +1 - 5(x+3) / 2(x+3)

Use distributive property:

6x +1 - 5x -15 / 2(x+3)

Combine like terms for final answer:

(x-14) / 2(x+3)

  • Diameter: d = 2r
  • Area of a Circle: A = πr²

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

d = 30 m

Step 2: Find Area

  1. Substitute [D]:                    30 m = 2r
  2. Isolate r:                             15 m = r
  3. Rewrite:                              r = 15 m
  4. Substitute [AC]:                 A = π(15 m)²
  5. Rearrange:                        A = 15²π
