in this case the we have to draw the area in bigger map with the scale of 3. This means, 1 unit in smaller map is now will be represented by 3 units in bigger map.
so 1 × 1 size box in smaller map = 3×3 size box in bigger map
as length and breadth both will be scaled to 3 times.
so original figure in smaller map it takes 6 square box of size 1×1
its going to take 54 square box of size 1×1.

atea in bigger map for same = 6× ( 3×3) = 54 square units

here we have to scale down the image.
that means 3 unit in bigger map will be now represented as 1 uNit in smaller map.
so length and breadth will be reduced to 1/3 in smaller map.
