The document in question upon its first printed side recited the first section of the Thirteenth Amendment, said that the idea e

mbodied in it was violated by the conscription act and that a conscript is little better than a convict. In impassioned language it intimated that conscription was despotism in its worst form and a monstrous wrong against humanity in the interest of Wall Street's chosen few. It said, 'Do not submit to intimidation,' but in form at least confined itself to peaceful measures such as a petition for the repeal of the act. The other and later printed side of the sheet was headed 'Assert Your Rights.' It stated reasons for alleging that any one violated the Constitution when he refused to recognize 'your right to assert your opposition to the draft,' and went on, 'If you do not assert and support your rights, you are helping to deny or disparage rights which it is the solemn duty of all citizens and residents of the United States to retain.' It described the arguments on the other side as coming from cunning politicians and a mercenary capitalist press, and even silent consent to the conscription law as helping to support an infamous conspiracy. Which of following describes an intended outcome of the protest document? To deny or disparage rights To violate the Thirteenth Amendment To repeal of the conscription act To submit to intimidation

Answer:

To repeal the Conscription Act.

Explanation:

From this passage, we can infer rightly what the actual intent of the protest document was. The fliers was to stimulate men not to be in support and to kick against the draft.

It's main purpose or belief was that conscription was not in accordance with the Thirteenth Amendment as it was in the real intent to be a kind of involuntary servitude.

It also address the fact that, if people did not kick against the draft, they were permitting and selling out the rights of all Americans, causing their rights to be impacted negatively and to be weakened.

Ancient Egypt is the name of a civilization of North Africa around 3100 BC, consolidated along the Nile River Delta, that place these days is known as the country Egypt.

In early times, Egypt was called Kemet (Kermit), which means “The Black Land” in reference to the rich soil in the Nile Valley area.

Although historians focus mainly on the north kingdoms of Egypt as the ones with whom the pharaohs interacted mostly; a mighty kingdom, named "Kush", located beyond the first rapids of the Nile River, to the south of Egypt, maintained large economic ties with the Egyptians; and was able to conquer them in a lapse.

The term “Kush” comes from the Hindu, meaning Mountain Range. The Kingdom of Kush in Nubia, located around what today is known as Sudan, was established after the collapse of the Bronze Age, and the disintegrated New Kingdom of Egypt.

Nubia ("Kush") was an Egyptian colony from the 16th century BCE, governed by an Egyptian Viceroy. When the New Kingdom disintegrated, "Kush" became an independent kingdom. Pharaohs from Kush ruled Egypt for almost a century, and they also built temples, to honor their gods, and land-marked the desert with many tombs.

Two of the main resources of Ancient Kush were gold and iron, helping them to become wealthy by trading with other nearby nations.

Answer:

Making the assumption that these people were prejudiced or racist is an example of the correspondence bias.

Explanation: On December 1st, 1955, Rosa Parks was commuting back home by bus, when the driver asked her and three other African Americans to stand up from their seats so that white passengers could seat there. While the three other passengers complied with the driver's order, Rosa Parks denied to do so, which ended up with her arrest, and later on with a social movement that decided to boycott the buses in Montgomery during Rosa Parks' trial. Although most of the people decided to leave the first seat behind the driver empty in honor of Rosa Parks, some of them actually seat on it anyways. Assuming that these people were racists is an example of a correspondence bias. A correspondence bias is the tendency to draw inferences about a person's personality based on a unique and specific observed behavior. There are many circumstances and reasons as to why that people sat on the seat that was meant to be empty that would not make them instantly perceived as racist or prejudiced, but assuming that they are based on that one action would be an example of a correspondence bias.
