True or false: less than 4 percent of presidential nominees to the supreme court have been rejected by the senate on grounds of
belka [17]

It is false that less than 4 percent of presidential nominees to the supreme court have been rejected by the senate on grounds of judicial qualification, legal views, personal ethics, or partisanship.

What is meant y presidential nominee?

This is used to refer to the fact that a person wants to run for the highest office in the United States, This is done by the scrutiny that the congress would want to put in place on that person.

The United States is known to have its great nation to be built on the ideals of freedom and one of this is the freedom of speech. Hence the lawmakers would not disqualify based on the fact that a person is partisan.

Do you agree that "The ends justify the means"?
Artemon [7]
This is the kind of concept a utilitarian would agree on. If the result is positive for a large group of people, we should seriously consider doing it.

However, I would like to comment on this concept. In my opinion (and that's what you're asking for) there are situations in which the ends don't justify the means. You can e.g. think about mass-bombings to fight against terrorism. However, the possibility exists that innocent people will be hit, and will die. Therefore, the end don't always justify the means (in my opinion).
