Hey there!

Hormones are things in your body that cause you to react in a certain way. A good example of a hormone is Adrenaline. If you ever feel nervous about a test or butterflies in your stomach, that’s Adrenaline going to work.

Both organelles are said to evolve through a process called "endosymbiosis".
