130, is the answer.. so here's me having to come back and to explain, because this questions is SO hard.
They ask to round to the ten.
128
^This is ten, so we look to our right which is eight, is higher than 5. 5 is counted as higher. So 8 is over five and if we round 28, it's 30.
WOW, fascinating.
Thanks Brainly's "monitors" such help. -_-

A company is planning to manufacture snowboards. The fixed costs are $ 100$100 per day and total costs are $55005500 per day at
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

The equation for total cost function is

C(x)=100+270x

Step-by-step explanation:

Variable cost per per board =total cost per day-fixed cost per day/daily output

total cost per day is $5,500

fixed cost per day is $100

20 boards are produced per day

variable cost per board=($5,500-$100)/20=$270 per day

Total cost C(x)=fixed cost per day+ variable per board*number of daily output

Since daily output is represented also by x ,total cost function is given thus:

C(x)=100+270x

FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

Hence, a carpenter can paint a maximum of 7 chairs.

Hence, option A is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

A carpenter has less than 120 min. to spend painting furniture each day.

Today, he has spent 30.5 min. painting a desk.

Now he will paint x chairs, each of which takes 12.5 min.

i.e. he will take a total of 12.5x minutes in painting 'x' chairs.

Also total time spent on painting furniture each day will be equal to time spent on painting a desk and all of the chairs.

Hence,

30.5+12.5x<120 (since the total time he spends on painting is less than 120 mins.)

⇒ 12.5 x<120-30.5

⇒ 12.5 x<89.5

⇒ x<7.16  ( on dividing both side of the inequality with 12.5)

Hence, a carpenter can paint a maximum of 7 chairs.
