MpRashawn recently spent $100 to open a store selling tee-shirts. At his business, he purchases plain tee-shirts for $11 each, p

rints graphics on them, and then sells them for $26 each. What is the minimum number of tee-shirts that Rashawn would need to sell in order to make a profit (total income minus total expenses) of at least $400?

I believe its 34 because the profit per t-shirt is $15, and we need to get to $400, so we multiply by 27 which puts us at $405, but MpRashawn spent $100 to open the restaurant so we have to subtract that from our current total. Now we have $305, we can add 7 more sold t-shirts. Finally that puts us at $410.

Answer is 34.

State whether the value for the unknown makes inequalities

74/e < 12
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

74/e < 12

Since e is in the denominator, e can not be 0.

If e > 0,

74/e < 12

74 < 12e

e > 74/12

e < 37/6

If e < 0,

(When you multiply by e, which is a negative value, inequality reverses)

74 > 12e

e < 74/12

e < 37/6
