Answer:

-15Nm

Explanation:

Work is said to be done when a force causes an object to change its position.

Workdone = Force × Distance

Given the force (−2i+2j+3k)N

Since the body moves from point (−5,4,3) to the point (−2,13,−6), we will take the difference of both points to get the distance covered.

The difference will be final point (-2,13,-6) minus initial point (-5,4,3) i.e (-2,13,-6) - (-5,4,3) = (3,9,-9)

This point can be represented vectorially as (3i+9j-9k)meters

Work done = (−2i+2j+3k)×(3i+9j-9k)

Note that i.i = j.j = k.k = 1, the multiplication of different components will give "zero"

Work done = (-2×3)+(2×9)+(3×-9)

Work done = -6+18-27

Work done= -15Nm

As a train accelerates uniformly, it passes successive 5-kilometer markers while traveling at velocities 10 m/s and 25 m/s. what
gregori [183]
<span>122.0 km/hr. First let’s make sure all of our units are in the base meter form: i.e. convert 5km to 5000m. (We will convert back to km later). The first thing to do is look at the equation relating velocity, acceleration, and distance: Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2*a*d, where Vf is final velocity, Vi is initial velocity, a is acceleration, and d is distance. 25^2 = 10^2 + 2*a*5000 =?> 625 = 100 +10000a => a= 0.0525m/s^2. Now that we have acceleration, we can use the same equation again with different numbers.: Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2*a*d = 25^2 + 2*0. 0525m*5000 = 625 + 525 =1150 => Vf^2 = 1150 => 33.9m/s. Convert to km/hour: 33.9m/s * 1km/1000m *60s/1min * 60min/ 1 hr = 122.0 km/hr.</span>

The speed of light is 3.00 × 108 m/s in the vacuum of space. In a medium with what index of refraction would light travel slowes
Romashka [77]

Index of refraction can be calculated using the following formula:

n=\frac{c}{v}

where c=3 \times 10^8 \frac{m}{s} in a vacuum and "n" is the index of refraction.  So we must calculate our velocity by manipulating the index of refraction formula and isolate v and so:

v=\frac{c}{n}

We could go one by one and calculate the velocity or use logic.  If you divide by a larger number the output will be a smaller number.  Therefore, the answer would be n=1.62 is the slowest.

v=\frac{3 \times 10^8 \frac{m}{s}}{1.62}= 1.85185 \times 10^8 \frac{m}{s}

By that logic when n=1 light would travel the fastest of these four scenarios.  The key thing to understand about these problems is that the speed of light slows down as it goes through a medium, in a vacuum it's 3 x 10^ 8 m/s but as it goes through say air or water light slows down.

Tires aren't made from pure rubber because it makes the weight higher which increases the engine load.

<h3>What is Tyre?</h3>

This is defined as a piece of rubber which is attached to the wheels of automobiles for movement.

Pure rubber isn't used to make tyres because it has a higher weight which increases the engine load thereby making the vehicle slower.
