Hello!

First you have to count the total of picks before it goes back to the beginning

2 + 5 = 7

There are 7 total picks before the cycle resets

Divide the the amount of picks by 7

21 / 7 = 3

Multiply this by the amount of picks that are orange

2 * 3 = 6

The answer is 6

Hope this helps!

A tank contains 10 liters of pure water. Saline solution with a variable concentration 5 grams of salt per liter is pumped into
algol [13]

Answer:

dQ(t)/dt = 20 - 2Q(t)/5 , Q(0) = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

The mass flow rate dQ(t)/dt = mass flowing in - mass flowing out

Since 5 g/L of salt is pumped in at a rate of 4 L/min, the mass flow in is thus 5 g/L × 4 L/min = 20 g/min.

Let Q(t) be the mass present at any time, t. The concentration at any time ,t is thus Q(t)/volume = Q(t)/10. Since water drains at a rate of 4 L/min, the mass flow out is thus, Q(t)/10 g/L × 4 L/min = 2Q(t)/5 g/min.

So, dQ(t)/dt = mass flowing in - mass flowing out

dQ(t)/dt = 20 g/min - 2Q(t)/5 g/min

Since the salt just begins to be pumped in, the initial mass of salt in the tank is zero. So Q(0) = 0

So, the initial value problem is thus

dQ(t)/dt = 20 - 2Q(t)/5 , Q(0) = 0

Sanjay expects 10 000 visitors at the festival. For health and safety, there must be fewer than 0.9 visitors per square metre. I
zhannawk [14.2K]
You didn't specify how big the festival is. so i can't find the answer.....but i will try
first let's devide 10,000 by 0.9 to see how many square metres we need, to fit 10,000 people
10,000÷0.9=11,111 square meters
we need atleast 11,111 meters of land for a safe festival

During a regular half hour tv show, there are 8 minutes of commercials. If each commercial is 0.25 minutes long, how many commer
lianna [129]
Half hour means 30 minutes.

Since their are 8 minutes of commercials and 0.25 minutes long.

Divide

8/0.25 = 32

Their will be 32 commercials that will be shown during the show.

for some reason i can never find the volume of a sphere and i know how to but can someone help me please?
Aneli [31]

Answer:

113.1

Step-by-step explanation:

V=\frac{4}{3} r^3\\V=\frac{4}{3} (3)^3\\113.1=\frac{4}{3} (3)^3\\V= 113.1

This is the formula you have to follow, finding the volume of objects is hard without the formula and it's just something you'll have to memorize. BUt just remember to plug in the radius which is 3 in this problem, into the volume formula: V=\frac{4}{3} r^3
