Answer:

I remember the time when Zinedine Zidane, the well-known french soccer player, who is one of the most successful and skilled players in soccer history, attacked the Italian player Materazzi, that event cost the cup to Zidane, because it was during a Worlds Cup. According to some sources, Materazzi insulted Zidane, which triggered his behaviour.

Other opinions say that due to the level of competition, the event, the pressure and intensity of the game, all those factor influenced Zidane to act like that, which was a poor sport behaviour.

I really believe that the context was the main factor that pushed Zidane to act like that, because it was a Wold Cup, the most important tournament in soccer.

Spitting of blood or blood-stained sputum from the lungs or bronchial tubes is a sympthoms of
Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

Spitting blood or bloodstained sputum from the lungs or bronchial tubes is a symptom of many diseases, more symptoms need to be revealed for a single disease to be identified. However, diseases that have the symptom of spitting blood or bloodstained sputum from the lungs or bronchial tubes are listed below.

Explanation:

Spitting blood with sputum (cough) and coughing means that the bleeding comes from the lungs or airways, which may indicate any of the following diseases:

 • Pulmonary infections, such as acute bronchitis or chronic bronchitis;
 • Lung cancer;
 • Pulmonary Tuberculosis;
 • pulmonary infarction (death of part of the lung tissue caused by obstruction of some artery);
 • Bronchiectasis (abnormal dilation of the pulmonary bronchi);
 • Venocapillary hypertension (increased blood pressure in the pulmonary veins that can cause small vessels to rupture);
 • Left ventricular failure of the heart;
 • Mitral valve stenosis (narrowing) of the heart.

Spitting blood without a cough may be a sign of a nose or throat injury. For example, if the throat is inflamed or infected, there may be minor bleedings due to minor mucosal lesions, and when the discharge comes out, it is accompanied by blood.

Which of the following statements are true regarding pathogens?
dexar [7]

Answer:

Regarding pathogens, the statement that is true is that viruses cannot reproduce on their own.

Explanation:

Viruses are pathogenic agents not considered as living beings, since they are only constituted by genetic material surrounded by a viral capsid, besides not fulfilling vital functions.

These agents are unable to reproduce on their own, so they need to place their genetic material —DNA or RNA— inside a host cell, to modify its nuclear DNA and be able to reproduce.

The other options are not correct because:

 • Influenza can cause an upset stomach. Influenza primarily affects the respiratory system.
 • Pathogens affect everyone equally. Each individual's immune response is different when exposed to the same pathogen.
 • Fungi are large, stoneflies organisms. The pathogenic fungi, such as Candida albicans and Trichophyton, are different from the mushrooms and fungi that can be seen in soil or decomposed organic matter.
