Answer:

Work done in lifting the object = 98 J

Explanation:

Work: Work can be defined as the product of force and distance.

The S.I unit of work is Joules (J).

Mathematically it can be expressed as

W = F × d................. Equation 1

Where W = work done, F = force needed to lift the object, d = distance

The gravitational force on the object = Weight of the object

Weight of the object = mg .................. Equation 2

Where m = mass of the object, g = acceleration due to gravity

Given: m = 5 kg,

Constant: g = 9.8 m/s²

Substituting these values into equation 2

Weight of the object = 5 × 9.8

Weight of the object = 49 N

Since weight of the object = force needed to lift the object,

F = 49 N

<em>Also Given: d = 2 m</em>

Substituting these values into equation 1

W = 49 × 2

W = 98 J

Work done in lifting the object = 98 J

work = force ×displacement

force=5 kg × 1000 × 10 ms -2

displacement=2 m

work=100000 J

An electron moves in a circular path perpendicular to a magnetic field of magnitude 0.245 T. If the kinetic energy of the electr
Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer

Given,

Magnetic field, B = 0.245 T

KE of the electron = 2.90 x 10⁻¹⁹ J

Speed of electron = ?

KE = \dfrac{mv^2}{2}

v=\sqrt{\dfrac{2(KE)}{m}}

v=\sqrt{\dfrac{2\times 2.90\times 10^{-19}}{9.11\times 10^{-31}}}

v = 7.97 x 10⁵ m/s

radius of the circular path

so,

\dfrac{mv^2}{r}=evB

r=\dfrac{mv}{eB}

r=\dfrac{9.11\times 10^{-31}\times 7.97 \times 10^5}{1.6\times 10^{-19}\times 0.245}

r = 1.85 x 10⁻⁵ m

HELP ASAP!!!! WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!<br><br> What is the function of mitochondria?
katovenus [111]

Answer:

The mitochondria is a cell organelle that provides energy for the cells.

Explanation:

A cell can be defined as the fundamental or basic functional, structural and smallest unit of life for all living organisms. Some living organisms are unicellular while others are multicellular in nature.

A unicellular organism refers to a living organism that possess a single-cell while a multicellular organism has many (multiple) cells.

All living organisms such as plants and animals require energy to function properly (life activities). Thus, the organelle where energy from nutrients is released is generally referred to as mitochondria.

Animals retrieve energy using mitochondria to do cellular respiration because they typically act like a digestive system by taking in nutrients, breaking them down and obtaining energy rich molecules for cell-life activities.

Basically, mitochondria is one of the cell organelles found in all living organisms and it is known as the powerhouse. Therefore, mitochondria provides all the energy required in the cell by transforming energy forms through series of chemical reactions; breaking down of glucose into Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) used for providing energy for cellular activities in the body of living organisms.

Suppose I wanted to answer this question about the model.
What info about the model would I need to know in order to
make any intelligent guess about the model ?

Hint:
It would really help if I could SEE the model, or at least a photo of it.
