It reduces obesity because some foods fulfill the hunger needs even if taken in small quantities. The food items with high satiety value does not contribute to the gain of weight.

If the calories and relative sizes are similar then snacks with the highest satiety value will be a glass of orange juice. As it will contain fewer calories as compared to other snacks and will not contribute to the weight gain.
