Hm, raw materials: three stages exist in the electron transport:  It is, glycolysis, citric acid cycle, and electron transport.

In animals, like humans, waste products of aerobic respiration is, water and carbon dioxide, and waste product of anaerobic respiration are lacic acid.

Hope this helps alot!! -Aparri

It’s Wolf biologists are a specific type of wildlife biologist - a scientist employed to observe and study animal behaviors. In this case, their research and study are limited to wolves. They spend time in the field observing the wildlife and their interactions with each other, prey animals and the ecology.

Why did scientists eventually choose to support darwin's ideas about natural selection as a mechanism behind evolution rather th
BaLLatris [955]
The correct answer is D. The theory of natural selection provided a better explanation of the processes that were being observed by the scientists. They observed that the related species birds found on one island were slightly different from that of the other, and certain portions earth, have the species, which were not found anywhere else.

Adaptations of the chloroplast
zepelin [54]

Answer:

Chloroplasts are the ’solar energy plants’ of a cell – they convert light energy into chemical energy

This chemical energy may be either ATP (light dependent) or organic compounds (light independent)

Only photosynthetic tissue possess chloroplasts (e.g. is present in leaves but not roots of plants)

Chloroplasts are thought to have once been independent prokaryotes that were internalised by eukaryotes via endosymbiosis

They have a double membrane structure (due to vesicular coating as part of the endocytotic process)

They have their own DNA (circular and naked) and ribosomes (70S)

Their metabolic processes are susceptible to certain antibiotics

The structure of the chloroplast is adapted to the function it performs:

Thylakoids – flattened discs have a small internal volume to maximise hydrogen gradient upon proton accumulation

Grana – thylakoids are arranged into stacks to increase SA:Vol ratio of the thylakoid membrane

Photosystems – pigments organised into photosystems in thylakoid membrane to maximise light absorption

Stroma – central cavity that contains appropriate enzymes and a suitable pH for the Calvin cycle to occur

Lamellae – connects and separates thylakoid stacks (grana), maximising photosynthetic efficiency

If LAL (limulus amebocyte lysate) turns into a gel when exposed to a sample, it
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer: The statement is TRUE.

Explanation:

Gram negative bacteria is a type of bacteria that possesses, from the interior to the exterior, a cytoplasmic membrane, a thin peptidoglycan layer, and an outer membrane containing lipopolysaccharide. The lipid portion of the lipopolysaccharide complex of the outer layer acts as an ENDOTOXIN.

The endotoxin of the gram negative bacteria can be detected in research or biomedical laboratories through a technique called LIMULUS AMEBOCYTE LYSATE test.

The test procedure follows a principle that the endotoxin of these gram negative bacteria are capable of forming gel clots (coagulation) of blood cell (amoebocytes) lysates of the Limulus polyphemus crab.

Therefore, If LAL (limulus amebocyte lysate) turns into a gel when exposed to a sample, it

means the sample is contaminated with endotoxins of gram-negative bacteria.
