(x+3)/3 = (y+2)/2
Note: please add parentheses so you don't cause confusion. x+3/3 is totally different from (x+3)/3

2(x+3) = 3(y+2)
2x+6 = 3y+6
2x=3y
x = 3y/2
x/3 = (3y/2)/3 = y/2

Given angle 1 and angle 2 are supplements, angle 3 and angle 4 are supplements, angle 1 is congruent to angle 4. Prove Angle 2 i
ella [17]

m<1 + m<2 = 180°

m<3 + m<4 = 180°

Because they are both equal to 180°, you can set them equal to each other.

m<1 + m<2 = m<3 + m<4

Angles 1 and 4 are congruent (equal), so we can subtract them from each side to get:

m<2 = m<3

Any one know the y intercept?
y=2x+-3
Bond [772]

Answer: -3

Step-by-step explanation:

the number at the end of the equation is the y-intercept. it's called "slope-intercept" form because the 2x that is at the beginning represents the slope, and the -3 at the end represents the y-intercept.

hope this helps!

Find the surface area of the composite figure.
Sloan [31]

With the help of the area formulae of rectangles and triangles and the concept of surface area, the surface area of the composite figure is equal to 276 square centimeters.

What is the surface area of a truncated prism?

The surface area of the truncated prism is the sum of the areas of its six faces, which are combinations of the areas of rectangles and right triangles. Then, we proceed to determine the surface area:

A = (12 cm) · (4 cm) + 2 · (3 cm) · (4 cm) + 2 · (12 cm) · (3 cm) + 2 · 0.5 · (12 cm) · (5 cm) + (5 cm) · (4 cm) + (13 cm) · (4 cm)

A = 48 cm² + 24 cm² + 72 cm² + 60 cm² + 20 cm² + 52 cm²

A = 276 cm²

With the help of the area formulae of rectangles and triangles and the concept of surface area, the surface area of the composite figure is equal to 276 square centimeters.
