The Lenape Indians used to take from nature only things that will suffice their basic needs. Need for food, clothing and shelter. When the Europeans arrived, the Lenape Indians learned to hunt and trap animals for their fur and trade the furs to the Europeans.

The Lenape Indians used to live in the Northeeastern Woodlands along the Hudson River valley. The Lenape Indians were christened by the Europeans as Delaware Indians because their settlements were near the Delaware River. When the Europeans arrived, they brought diseases such as smallpox, measles, and common colds that infected the Lenape Indians and lead to numerous deaths. The diminishing number of the Lenape Indians in the Delaware River made it easier for the Europeans to claim ownership on the land and drive the Indians away.

The Lenape Indians settled along the Susquehanna River and when settlers arrives and war broke out, majority of them relocated to Ohio River Valley. They were finally driven to settle along the White River in present-day Indiana.

Which organizational structure has the disadvantage of ambiguous roles for senior executives?
koban [17]

A strategic business unit structure has the disadvantage of ambiguous roles for senior executives.

A strategic business unit, commonly known as an SBU, is a fully functioning unit of a company with its own vision and direction. Strategic business units usually act as independent entities, but they are also an important part of the organization. Report operational status to the control center.

Strategic business units in strategic business management are profit centers focused on product offerings and market segments. SBUs typically have separate marketing plans, competitive analyses, and marketing campaigns, but can also be part of a larger business unit.

A company may experience some disadvantages when organizing divisions via an SBU structure. A separate entity can create an additional layer of top management that is costly and difficult to manage. SBUs require coordination from headquarters to align with the overall goals of the group.

o-na [289]

Answer:

Spontaneous recovery

Explanation:

Mia is taught to go to sleep when the light is turned off. However, for many months Mia no longer falls asleep when the light is turned off. Later, Mia begins to fall asleep when the light is turned off again. This is an example of spontaneous recovery.

Spontaneous recovery refers to a phenomenon in which a person exhibits a behavior that was thought to have disappeared, that is, a specific behavior reappears after a 'rest' period.

The study of spontaneous recovery has been extremely significant in the field of psychology because it has shown that some behaviors do not disappear but, instead, it is only not displayed. This has demonstrated the important difference between extinction and unlearning.

arlik [135]

This question is missing the options. I've found the complete question online. It is the following:

In an enactment of the Good Samaritan situation, Darley and Batson (1973) studied the helpfulness of Princeton seminarians in order to assess whether helping behavior was influenced by

Select one:

a. religious education.

b. age differences.

c. social responsibility. Incorrect

d. time pressures.

Answer:

Darley and Batson wished to assess whether helping behavior was influenced by:

d. time pressures.

Explanation:

As a matter of fact, Darley and Batson did find evidence that helping behavior was influenced by time pressures. In other words, when we have more time to spare, we are more likely to help others on our way, like the Good Samaritan did.

In their study in Princeton, Darley and Batson sent students to a recording studio. The students had been asked to think about a talk they were to record there. The students who had been given more time to reach the studio were most likely to stop and help someone on their there than the others.
