Hi to answer this question we have to multiply the amount of kcal that hE eats per day (2,500) by the percentage in decimal form (60/100= 0.60)

Mathematically speaking:

2,500 x 0.60 = 1,500 kcal

Since each gram of carbohydrate provides 4 kilocalories of energy. To express the result in grams we simply have to divide it by 4:

1,500 kcal / 4 kcal/gram = 375 grams
