A student is raising money for cancer research. A local business agrees to donate an additional 25% of what the student raises,
Artemon [7]

Answer:

$585

Step-by-step explanation:

Find 25%  of $450:

$450 × 0.25 = $112.5 ⇒ this is how much money the business is donating.

Find 5% of $450:

$450 × 0.05 = $22.5 ⇒this is how much money the politician is donating.

Add those two amounts to the amount the student raised:

$450+$22.5+$112.5= $585
