3x-5=2x-6
Move 2x to the same side as 3x.
3x-2x = x
X-5=-6
add 5 to the -6.
X = 5-6
X=-1

Y=3x-5
y=2x-6

Move the X's to the other side on both equations to make equations easier to solve.

-3x+y=-5
-2x+y=-6

Subtract equations.

-x=1
x=-1

y=3x-5

y=3(-1) -5

y=-3-5
y=-8

~Hope I helped!~

Solve for x. −ax + 4b > 9 plz help me
likoan [24]

Answer:

x < \frac{9-4b}{a}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

- ax + 4b > 9 ( isolate the term in x by subtracting 4b from both sides )

- ax > 9 - 4b ( divide both sides by - a )

Remembering to reverse the inequality symbol when dividing by a negative quantity, thus

x < \frac{9-4b}{a}

I am not sure how to slove
notsponge [240]

First .... the limit of the given function is NOT EQUAL to 5 (it diverges so it has no limit).  There is a typo.  The 14 should be positive.

\lim_{x \to\ 7} \bigg(\dfrac{x^2-9x+14}{x-7}\bigg)=5

The precise definition of a limit is:

\text{If for every } \epsilon>0\text{ there exists a }\delta >0\text{ such that}\\|f(x)-L|

Given:

f(x) = \dfrac{x^2-9x+14}{x-7}\\\\L=5\\\\a=7\\\\\\|f(x)-L|

⇒ \epsilon = \delta

When ε = 0.1,     δ = 0.1

When ε = 0.01,   δ = 0.01

The point P(x, y) lies on the terminal side of an angle mc014-1.jpg = –60° in standard position. What are the signs of the value
madreJ [45]
<span>The sign value for x is positive and for y is negative. In standard position, the x point is at the origin, so the value will be 0. The terminal side is the line that moves to create the angle. At -60 degrees, the terminal side will be in the minus side of the y axis.</span>
