Which of the following describes the zone of saturation?
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

when the pores are completely filled in the rocks and soil

Explanation:

The zone of saturation is part of the divisions of ground water systems. It is the zone in which the pore spaces within the rock are completely filled with water.

The zone of saturation is where the aquifer lies in a body of water and it is the ground water prospect. Pore spaces can also be filled with hydrocarbons.

Above the zone of saturation is the water table. The water table defines the upper layer of the zone of saturation above which the pore spaces are filled with gas or no water can be found.

What are two diffrences between replication and transcription?
Ghella [55]
Replication - The action of copying or reproducing something.
DNA replication of producing two identical replicas of DNA from one original DNA molecule.

Transcription - First step to gene expression, in which a particular segment of DNA is copied into RNA (especially mRNA) by the enzyme RNA polymerase. Both DNA and RNA are nucleic acids, which use base pairs of nucleotides as a complementary language.

1.) Transcription involved both DNA and RNA, whilst replication only involves DNA.
2.) Replication uses two identical replicas of DNA, whilst transcription is copied.

Hope I helped.
