Answer: Sana's ability to recall geographic facts that she learned at school is an example of:

D. Semantic Memory

Explanation: Semantic Memory is a more structured record of facts, meanings, concepts and knowledge about the external world that we have acquired. It refers to general factual knowledge, shared with others and independent of personal experience and of the spatial/temporal context in which it was acquired.

It, therefore, includes such things as types of food, capital cities, social customs, functions of objects, vocabulary, understanding of mathematics, etc.

Why do you think Lamott chose the title for this chapter of her book? Do you find her essay effective? Why or why not? Do you ex
grin007 [14]

In this chapter, Lamott talks about your "inner critic" or the "voice in your head." This is how she refers to the feeling of self-doubt or insecurity that authors can occasionally feel. It appears as if, despite her experience, Lamott is not immune to such doubts. In her text, she describes this process, and tries to help others overcome such doubts and concerns.

I believe taht she is successful in this task because she is able to accurately explain what that process is for the writer. Moreover, she is also able to describe strategies that allow us to get rid of such a critic.

B.F. Skinner discovered that when animals are given intermittent reinforcements, they:a. respond less than when they are rewarde
cestrela7 [59]

Answer:

The answer is D. They respond at least as well as when they are rewarded on every trial.

Explanation:

Intermittent reinforcement is when the reward is only provided only part of the time, it is usefull once the response is firmly established. To establish the response, it is recommended that the reward is given every time the behavior occurs, but once the conection has been made, intermittent reinforcements prevent extinction of the behavior; since it is unrealistic that the reinforcement is given every single time, it has been proved that intermittent reinforcement produce the same response as when the reward is given on every trial.

Gary signs a purchase contract for a house and finds a good financing deal with Mountain Bank. Mountain Bank sends Gary an execu
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

Mountain Bank needs to reissue the note with a 4.5% interest rate.

Explanation:

A mortgage commitment letter sets up a borrower with the top state of readiness to buy a home. Mortgage commitment letters are issued only when the borrower and property meet underwriting requirements.

That means a full mortgage application was taken, the loan file passed through underwriting, and the borrower was approved. Seldomly, with a few minor conditions. A mortgage commitment letter is a document that lets everyone in the real estate transaction (real estate agents, sellers, etc.) is that the lender is prepared to make a loan to the borrower.

This letter usually indicates (i) the type of loan being used, (ii) the amount of money being borrowed, (iii) the length, term or form of the repayment period, as well as (iv) the interest rate assigned to the loan. Mortgage commitments can be conditional, this implies that they come with a list of conditions that must be met before the file can move forward. So, if Mountain Bank sends Gary an executed commitment letter for the mortgage loan, which indicates a rate of interest of 4.5% and at closing, Gary was given a note to execute a rate of 7%. Mountain Bank then tells Gary that interest rates have risen since the commitment letter was issued. Mountain Bank would need to reissue the note with a 4.5% interest rate.
