Well to my knowledge we need to find how many people with that amount equal 2 for the amounts of peanuts. So lets go one by one.


2 friends = 4/5 of a bag of peanuts left together. - 0.8 left 

3 friends = 6/5 of a bag of peanuts left together. - 1.2 left 

4 friends = 8/5 of a bag of peanuts left together. - 1.6 left 

5 friends = 10/5 of a bag of peanuts left together. - 2 left 

So, there are 5 friends total.
