A 3-year old castrated male Doberman Pinscher comes in to the emergency clinic with signs consistent with gastric dilation and v
olvulus (GDV). Following standard initial emergency treatment for suspected gastric dilation and volvulus, what imaging procedure would be most helpful in confirming the diagnosis?
Radiographic imaging is useful to determine the particular position of the patients. Different diseases can be easily diagnosed by the radiographic imaging.
The most helpful procedure of confirming the disease in 3 year old patient is right lateral radiographic image. This imaging is generally used to reveal the the displaced pylorus filled with gas and the ventral fundus. Both are separated by soft band of the tissue. The gastric dilation and volvulud can be examined by this radiographic image.
Thus, the answer is right lateral radiographic image.
Stay patient and motivated, avoid browsing irrelevant things on the internet when you need to get something done, and take breaks and ask help when you need it... this is what I do so I hope this helps!
Well I am still working which I do not think I should be but fast food places are staying open for takeout. Quarantine is quite boring but other than that I am doing alright! :)
You should wear tight compression outfits to decrease the possibility of drag, especially in an olympic race. You could even wear a swim hat to lower drag from your hair.
