Ontem = 1/2 h = 0,5 h = 30 min
hoje = 4 h + 1/3 h = 1 h + 60/3 = 1 h e 20 min = 80 min

30 min + 80 min = 110 min

110 min.................54
60 min....................x

11x = 54*6
11x = 324
x = 324/11
x ~ 29,45 por hora

Find the distance between the two given points. (-6, -5) and (2, 0)
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

The answer is

<h2>\sqrt{41}  \:  \:  or \:  \:  \: 6.403 \:  \:  \: units</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance between two points can be found by using the formula

d =  \sqrt{( {x1 - x2})^{2} +  ({y1 - y2})^{2}  }  \\

where

(x1 , y1) and (x2 , y2) are the points

From the question the points are

(-6, -5) and (2, 0)

The distance is

d =  \sqrt{ ({ - 6 - 2})^{2} +  ({ - 5 - 0})^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{ ({ - 4})^{2}  +  ({ - 5})^{2} }  \\  =  \sqrt{16 + 25}  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

We have the final answer as

\sqrt{41}  \:  \:  or \:  \:  \: 6.403 \:  \:  \: units

Hope this helps you

Answer:

2nd Option: x + y = -1

General Formulas and Concepts:

<u>Pre-Algebra</u>

Order of Operations: BPEMDAS

  1. Brackets
  2. Parenthesis
  3. Exponents
  4. Multiplication
  5. Division
  6. Addition
  7. Subtraction
  • Left to Right

<u>Algebra I/Geometry</u>

  • Plug 'n' Chug
  • Graphing and Eyeballing

Step-by-step explanation:

Since Point A is included in the altitude, we must have an equation that has to make Point A a solution set in the equation.

Pluging in and chugging Point A into each equation should tell us what the equation should be.

<u>Option 1</u>

x - y = 1

-3 - 2 = 1

-5 ≠ 1

We see here that -5 does not equal to 1. Therefore option 1 is incorrect.

<u>Option 2</u>

x + y = -1

-3 + 2 = -1

-1 = -1

We see here that -1 does equal to -1. Therefore option 2 is correct.

<u>Option 3</u>

x + y = 1

-3 + 2 = 1

-1 ≠ 1

We see here that -1 does not equal to 1. Therefore option 3 is incorrect.

<u>Option 4</u>

x - y = -1

-3 - 2 = -1

-5 ≠ -1

We see here that -5 does not equal to 1. Therefore option 4 is incorrect.

We can also graph the points and eyeball it. Doing so, we should see that our y-intercept is around -1 and our slope is also negative. Option 2 would be the best fit.

Nina shops at two different stores, Fran’s Foods and Diane’s Deli. She compares the prices in the two stores to determine which
Natalija [7]

Answer:

Blank A: The better buy is Fran's

Blank B: The better buy is Diane's

Blank C: The better buy is Fran's

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain how to solve the problem

- The better buy is the cheapest price

# Blank A

∵ The Fran's foods price is $3.36 for 16 2/3 ounces

∴ The price of each ounce = 3.36 ÷ 16 2/3 = $0.2016

∵ The Diane's Deli price is $5.52 for 24 3/5 ounces

∴ The price of each ounce = 5.52 ÷ 24 3/5 = $0.2244

∵ The price per ounce in Fran’s Foods store less than Diane’s Deli

∴ The better buy is Fran's

# Blank B

∵ The Fran's foods price is $3.80 for 10 1/5 ounces

∴ The price of each ounce = 3.80 ÷ 10 1/5 = $0.3725

∵ The Diane's Deli price is $0.86 for 4 2/7 ounces

∴ The price of each ounce = 0.86 ÷ 4 2/7 = $0.2007

∵ The price per ounce in Diane’s Deli store less than Fran’s Foods

∴ The better buy is Diane's

# Blank C

∵ The Fran's foods price is $1.99 for 16 1/2 ounces

∴ The price of each ounce = 1.99 ÷ 16 1/2 = $0.1206

∵ The Diane's Deli price is $3.99 for 4 2/7 ounces

∴ The price of each ounce = 3.99 ÷ 24 3/4 = $0.1612

∴  The price per ounce in Fran’s Foods store less than Diane’s Deli

∴ The better buy is Fran's
