-About the book -

Lou Suffern is a typical workaholic. He ignores his wife and children. He promises them he'll be somewhere, then breaks the promise because of work. He feels that they should be grateful for the money he makes and the beautiful home they have.

One morning he stops and gives a cup of coffee to a homeless man he passes each day. He tells him, Gabe, that there is probably a job in the mail room if he wants it, and gives him some of his extra clothes, so that he'll look decent.

Gabe gets the job, and seems to have supernatural powers. He influences Lou by looking displeased when Lou puts his work first and breaks a promise to his family. He manages to get from the 14th, (really the 13th,) floor with his mail cart faster than Lou can with the elevator.

He gives Lou a pill which lets him clone himself, giving him the capability to be two places at once. Lou discovers how much his family means to him, and how precious life is.

All of Ahern's books have been different, and all very readable. I liked this book very much.

- The characters -

 • Lou : - Lou, the main character, is hardworking, workaholic, always busy and ambitious. He's not really like-able but understandable in a way. What I don't like about him is his "hunger" to be always on top, to be in competition with someone, and his disregard for his family. His character development was a bit too sudden for me.

 • Gabe : - he's still a mystery to me. He played a big part in Lou's character development, though there were times that I don't understand and like him.

 • Ruth : - Her character was not explored well, but I think she is worth mentioning here. She must love Lou very much for her to stay. I admire her love, patience and loyalty. Despite Lou's reputation, she forgave him and did not give up.

- The Writing -

Written in an omniscient, third person perspective, I was able to put myself into the story, and understand what the author is trying to tell. The flow of the story is smooth; and I liked how the two time frames are connected.

- Star Rating -

★★★★★ (5 stars)

(but the rating depends on you ...this was just my review and my thoughts about the book )

Answer:

Two different authors. One is an essay and one is a poem. But both of them describe nature as the most amazing and beautiful thing that they have ever seen. They saw how wonderful and amazing life is. It's obvious that they have a connection with plants, air, clouds, and trees.

William Wordsworth uses poetry and Nate Muir uses prose, but they both use similar methods describe different things in nature and to communicate to the way nature makes them feel to their audience. They both paint a picture with words.

The writers of "Calypso Borealis", and “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud,” are similar not just through the diction, vocabulary, but also through the impact of the mood, and tone, while both of the writers express their relationship in different ways there is still the impact on the audience.
