Sarah and Kelvin are calculating the area of a circle with a radius of 52 cm. Kelvin uses 3.14 for pi when calculating this area

Kelvin would be off because he's using an estimate for Pi because it is endless, so he's rounding at the start and his answer will be incorrect.

What is 700 ÷21 in numbers not in decimals
Rus_ich [418]
It is impossible to get around decimals. If a number does not go into a number evenly, there has to be a decimal, that's just the way it is

And 700 / 21 = 33.3333333333

Answer:

9.425

Step-by-step explanation:

first find the total length of a circle with the radius being 2cm

which u will obtain 12.566

not forget that in circle 90 degrees =1/4

so u will find 1/4 of 12.566 which= 3.141

then subtract 3.141 from 12.566

Look at the sequence in the table. Which recursive formula represents the sequence shown?

A
satela [25.4K]

Answer:

B) a_n=2a_{n-1}+1

Step-by-step explanation:

To find this recursive formula, we need to look at the relationship between each term in the sequence.

When looking at n=1 and n=2, we can see that we have 5 and 11.

We have to find a pattern between each term in the sequence. If we double 5, which is the previous term, and add 1, we get 11.

Lets see if this works for the next term, 23

First, lets double 11 = 22

Now add 22+1=23. We got the right term. Lets test it again

23*2=46

46+1=47

And now the last term

47*2=94

96+1=95

As you can see doubling the previous term and adding 1 works for all of these terms.

when written as a recursive formula, it would be a_n=2a_{n-1}+1, which is B
