We can all make a wrong decision in our lives. When this happens the most important thing is to acknowledge that you have made a mistake, not to try to blame people who are not to blame, to take responsibility for your mistake, and to bear the consequences of your bad decision. However, in some situations, some steps may be taken to correct a bad decision, such as:

  1. Don't bet on your instincts: A common mistake, when making decisions as well as correcting them, is simply to bet on your instinct. In that case, it's easy for you to act on impulse for no reason, or even fall into the gambler's fallacy, that you simply rely on past results to make future decisions. You must reason, think, plan and evaluate how to resolve the situation.
  2. Run for information: To correct a decision, we need to gather as much information on the subject as we can to make the right choices this time around. The more external sources, especially experts, the more accurate their actions. That's because to make better decisions, and fix our mistakes, we must research, debate, check results, among other things.
  3. Perform decision correction one step at a time:  Perform decision correction one step at a time: A decision correction has to be done calmly, following a step-by-step system that allows you to evaluate each point of the decision and can fix them efficiently, without accumulating problems and evaluating which points of the decision are relevant and which are not.

What information can be gathered by the nurse prior to the provider seeing them?
spayn [35]

Current Medication List can be gathered by the nurse prior to the provider seeing them.

To make sure the patient is receiving the right medication, for the right purpose, and at the right time, conduct an assessment before providing any medications. For instance, a nurse conducts a cardiac evaluation and analyses lab results before giving a patient cardiac medicine.

The client should receive education regarding the right and safe way to self-administer drugs. The nurse must check and validate the medication order before administering it. They must also use their critical thinking skills to evaluate the ordered medication in light of the client's status and condition, as well as any relevant lab results and vital sign data.

Therefore, current Medication List can be gathered by the nurse prior to the provider seeing them.
